Commonwealth Youth Forum

Young people play an important role in the Commonwealth. They have a voice in how their countries and the wide Commonwealth (as an international network of countries) are run

This is achieved through young people networking with each other on a local and international level and helping to shape the development of the Commonwealth today and in the future.

About the Commonwealth Youth Forum (CYF)

The CYF takes place every two years, as a precursor to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. It reflects the spirit of the Commonwealth and highlights the Commonwealth’s commitment to the principles of democracy and diversity.

It provides young Commonwealth citizens with the opportunity to discuss issues, share their experiences, build consensus and identify best practices.
