The Rushey Mead Foundation
The theme of this exchange is " LINKING, LEARNING N' LIVING"
Linking = The Rushey Mead school (leicester) and the Rushey Mead school (Nagor), helping raise funds for the school in India after the 2001 earthquake. This helped create bonds between the two communities.
Learning = Young people take upon themselves to learn as much as they can in order to make a difference. From their personal experience it lead to global developments.
Livinig it = living a life changing experience and engaging directly at grassroot with people who have very little material resources.
The aims and objectives include; is multifold and illustrated by the theme.
By Linking, Learning and living it, it is hoped that young people will be prepared for a life of global awareness!
